New Year Reflections

Today is the first day of a new year...the beginning of a new cycle in life.

In my part of the world, it is winter.  We are inclined to spend more time indoors where it is warm and cozy.  It’s a good opportunity to take some time and reflect on the previous year.   In the stillness of looking out the window on the freshly fallen snow, so pristine, peaceful and beautiful, we can move inwards and connect with our inner feelings.
Many of us are inspired to set new goals and make resolutions as we move into the new year.  Reflection affords us the opportunity to take a look at ourselves, where we’ve been, what we’ve done, our accomplishments and our challenges, our victories and failures, our joys and sorrows.

Our experiences provide us with valuable lessons and insight that can help us set realistic goals for this coming year.

Before you step outside the door to make your first imprints on 2015 think about how you might lighten your load  on your journey and recognize what you need to take with you to make life meaningful.

Best wishes for a Happy New Year!
