Individual Therapy

Most individuals come to therapy because they have difficulty making sense of their emotions, often feeling stuck in a negative and recurring cycle. They may be experiencing feelings of loneliness, depression, fear, frustration, anxiety, anger, guilt and low self-esteem, to mention a few. These feelings affect how they see themselves, their ability to function effectively and interact with others. Unresolved emotions can lead to further problems including addictions, passive/aggressiveness and self-harming behaviours.
Individual Therapy provides a confidential, safe and non-judgemental environment to explore your thoughts, beliefs, and feelings as you reach for your goals. It might be as simple as learning to improve communication skills and acquiring new coping strategies or it may require deeper personal work to heal a traumatic and wounded past. Reflection of childhood experiences allows for a deeper understanding and connection to self by recognizing behavioural patterns, coping strategies and how you communicate your needs and emotions to others.
Awareness is the foundation to transform what is not working for us. Without awareness, effective change cannot happen.
The integral therapeutic process includes a combination of client-centred talk therapy, bio-energetics, energy healing and mindfulness.
An individual session is usually one hour in length, scheduled on a regular basis, at the client's convenience, to promote ongoing awareness and growth until the intended objective is met.
